Accounts PayablePrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Accounts Payable Clerk will perform the following duties:Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresPerform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable dataReconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statementsFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clientsGenerate reports detailing accounts payable statusUnderstand expense accounts and cost centersUnderstand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)Location: Hattiesburg, MSPay Rate: $18-$22/hourType: Full-Time, Temp-to-HireQualifications:Experience in accounts payable & Foundation accounting systemFamiliarity with job costing is very valuableMust be dependable and be self-motivated, detail-orientedMust have a great people person personalityMust have the ability to multitask & work in a fast-paced environmentMust not be easily distracted and be able to work in an office where there are ringing phones and people talkingComputer experience with multiple types of software is requiredCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $22.00
