Technical Sales Specialist

*This is a field technical sales position that requires candidates to be located and frequently travel to customer sites within the Western US territory in or near Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, or Denver, CO.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Howard Medical, a market leader in point-of-care mobile solutions and technology, is seeking to hire a Technical Sales Specialist for Howard-manufactured products. We are looking for a highly-motivated and experienced candidate to join a world-class team of product specialists to support the Western US region. The primary responsibility of this role is to support sales activity as the technical expert for products produced by Howard Medical, including point-of-care carts, wall-mounted workstations, and telehealth products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but not limited to: Provide technical expertise of Howard carts, arms, telehealth, and cabinet (CATC) products and their associated technologies Weekly travel to customer sites to support Sales team and customers Analyze customer needs and recommend solutions Develop and maintain customer relationships alongside Sales team Demonstrate full range of product features including uses, capabilities, and benefits to customers Host cart fairs/exhibitions at customer sites and tradeshows Train regional sales personnel on how to present and promote Howard CATC products Respond to Solicitations and produce Proposals/Bids Assist with New Product Requests (NPRs) Maintain Literature/Resource Center for use by Sales team Maintain market/competitor awareness and trends, report to development teams Participate in design reviews, product/projects planning, and innovation meetings

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized & methodical, with close attention to detail Able to work independently, follow instruction, and handle multiple tasks Excellent time management skills and ability to set and manage scheduleAble to travel nationwide on a weekly basis: overnight/out-of-state travel 2-3 nights per week on average Reside in one of the cities listed below, or within approximately a 1-hour drive from the major airport in any of those cities

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
