This contract opportunity runs from 8/10/2026 through 11/2/2026, offering you the chance to build valuable experience with a manageable student caseload and the possibility of full-time placement.

You’ll work 37.5 hours each week, actively engaging with students to support communication needs while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Your focus will encompass prepping and attending ARD meetings, conducting evaluations, and providing direct interventions—ensuring every child receives individualized, high-quality care.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP License (required)
• Experience or interest in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP-Pediatrics, and SLP-School settings
• Background in providing speech/language assessments and interventions to K-12 students
• Familiarity with preparing and presenting at ARDs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to collaborative, student-focused care

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and participate in ARD meetings for assigned students
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in a school-based environment
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district policies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Manage a small, focused caseload with flexibility for potential full-time hours
• Keep up-to-date with best practices and continuing education in pediatric speech-language therapy
