Job Overview Crain Volkswagen is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. The Service Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience while maintaining high standards of service quality. Key Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and courteously, providing exceptional customer service. Listen carefully to customers’ vehicle concerns and accurately document service requests. Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and timely completion of repairs. Provide customers with clear explanations of recommended services, repairs, and associated costs. Prepare and review service orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles. Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to optimize shop efficiency. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues professionally. Promote additional services and maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Maintain a clean and organized service reception area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive training or certification is a plus. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology.
