Maintenance TechnicianLocation: South Windsor, CTJob Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $35–$45 per hour (based on experience)Reports To: Director of Facility OperationsPosition Overview: Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our South Windsor, CT facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting facility operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical, plumbing, and general machine repair and maintenanceConduct routine maintenance such as oil changes on key machinesTroubleshoot and repair equipment issuesRead and interpret blueprintsMaintain HVAC systemsSupport additional maintenance tasks as neededCross-train and assist in other departments when requiredRespond to emergency maintenance needsWork evenings and weekends as necessaryBasic QualificationsExperience in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenanceAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishHigh school diploma, technical school diploma, or GED requiredWillingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekendsReliable attendance and punctualityPreferred QualificationsVacuum chamber experience (preferred but not required)2–5 years of maintenance and facilities management experienceStrong problem-solving skills and self-motivationHigh attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Strong verbal and written communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $35–$45/hour, based on experience401(k) participationComprehensive benefits package
