Are you a highly skilled and creative graphic designer ready to make a significant impact on a dynamic web retail platform? We are seeking a talented individual to join our client's web retail design team for a three-month contract. In this pivotal role, you will directly shape the visual experience for millions of customers, bringing compelling designs to life and ensuring a seamless, engaging online presence. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining brand consistency and optimizing visual content for performance, directly contributing to a world-class user experience.


What You'll Do:

• Design strongly branded promotional graphics that capture attention and drive engagement.
• Optimize digital images for maximum download efficiency without compromising quality, ensuring a fast and fluid user experience.
• Develop clean and effective graphic templates and style guides, fostering consistency and efficiency across all web properties.
• Manage multiple project requests simultaneously, consistently meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a web production environment.
• BA/BS in Design or equivalent practical experience.
• Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Flash and ActionScript.
• Prior retail web experience.
• Excellent illustration skills.
