Your role on the team: Creates the strategy for the development of the Italian Trade Lanes business Develops and owns the relationships with all North American Customer(s) and works with the other regional directors in this segment, as well as the global strategy partner Drives the value propositions and personally leads the proposals for the identified must wins Works with the Regions on budgets, prospect opportunities and strategic requirements Owns/supports RFI’s and RFQ’s and ensures the bids are completed Develops growth for the Italian Trade Lanes portfolio Leads a team that is created to build this business What you need: Travel to Italy a minimum of twice per year, and hosting reciprocating visits from the customers from Italy Proven record of business development success, validated by experience listing Deep knowledge of industry and markets / sectors, validated by proven contacts Must have 10 years freight forwarding experience Must have solid operational knowledge, and be able to speak to the operations of the customer What you gain from joining our team: Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness app Free telemedical access to doctors and therapists through First Stop Health is available on the first day of employment!
