Accounting Manager

About the Company: Rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Dallas has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager Controller. About the Role The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Corporate Controller and oversees the daily operations of the corporate accounting and cost accounting teams. Responsibilities Ensure company financial information is complete, accurate and delivered on time Be accountable for the basics including the control environment, corporate accounting decisions and the quality of analysis and reporting Responsible for accuracy of the financial information, accounting decisions, integrity of internal controls, timeliness and quality of all routine submissions and external audits Oversee and manage the cost accounting function, developing and implementing cost control systems, analyzing production costs, and providing financial reports Provide technical and operational support to help build strong and well informed operational and project teams Be responsible for continuously identifying more efficient and effective ways of operating to drive efficiencies, reduce wastage, improve speed and enhance quality Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members, drive execution while being collaborative and promoting a team environment Provide strong proactive support to corporate and operations Hire, develop and motivate talent Achieve and maintain sufficient awareness of operating company risks, operational issues and challenges to allow for proactive intervention when required and provide detailed updates to senior management Collaborate with other departments under the CFO to streamline/automate processes, reduce the closing cycle and improve cash flow; drive change Qualificati ons: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), 6+ years' of accounting experience including experience working in or with a $250M+ annual revenue multi-location organization. Required Skills: Ability to drive consistent execution and strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills and experience building, developing, and managing cross-functional teams Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and large ERP systems Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines Compensation: Base Salary Range of $120,000 to $140,000 plus 20% Bonus and Excellent Company Benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
