Leave Specialist

Virtual Vocations Inc

Managing all leave of absence and job accommodation processes for a workforce of approximately 3,300 employees, the full-time Leave Specialist will oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, and various leave programs while ensuring compliance and effective communication, working remotely from specified states. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave-related matters Administer and manage all phases of FMLA, including coordination with STD/LTD claims and payroll processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while maintaining accurate case documentation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field and 2-3 years of leave/accommodation experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or large hourly workforce setting Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state leave laws Experience in managing intermittent leave and return-to-work processes Proficiency with UKG timekeeping systems and case management tools, along with strong Excel skills Ability to manage high case volumes and maintain confidentiality while being detail-oriented and organized
