Scientist- Analytical Research and Development

Scientist in analytical research and development at Pfizer's Groton, Connecticut location, responsible for developing analytical strategies and methods supporting pharmaceutical drug substance and product development across all phases. The role involves laboratory work, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional collaboration within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical strategies supporting drug substance and product development during all phases
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods; design stability studies for shelf-life assignments
- Perform laboratory work, delegate responsibilities, and review peer work as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to present data and solve technical challenges
- Author regulatory submission sections and prepare technical reports on analytical findings
Requirements
- MS in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 4-6 years of experience, or BS with 6-8 years
- Proficiency in chromatography, dissolution, IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, particle size analysis, or NMR with expertise in one or more
- Demonstrated ability to meet timelines with minimal supervision and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills with data visualization and report drafting ability
- Ability to learn new techniques, solve complex analytical problems, and work independently
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective interpersonal communication
Compensation: $79,400.00-$132,400.00 base annual salary, plus 7.5% bonus target
