Assembly Technician

AssemblerOur customer in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks, including fastening parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools, conducting final quality checks, and ensuring all products meet specifications before moving them to the shipping department.Responsibilities of the Assembler:Assemble or subassemble parts and components using hand or portable tools, including bolts, clips, screws, and cement.Operate machinery such as an arbor press, drill press, riveting machine, and tube flarer to perform tasks like filing, sawing, deburring, and drilling.Ensure proper alignment of parts using jigs, fixtures, or templates during the assembly process.Conduct final electrical checks, hydrostatic tests, and assembly inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards.Fill out required paperwork and test sheets, documenting the results of checks and tests.Load completed equipment onto skids, move products to the shipping department, and assist in packing and crating small product lines.Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:At least 1 year of recent experience in an assembly or manufacturing role.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong ability to read, write, and communicate in English.Basic math skills and the ability to understand and apply measurements in the assembly process.Familiarity with hand and power tools, along with a solid understanding of assembly processes.Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and use basic measuring instruments effectively.Pay for Assembler: Starting at $16/hour.Assembler Benefits:Health insurance.401k with company match.Paid weekly.Direct deposit.Paid training.Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 6:00am – 4:30pm, overtime on Friday’s when required.
