Provide short-term Gastroenterology coverage for inpatient consults and GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS.

Coverage Dates: October 1521, 2026

Schedule:

• Thursday 7:00 AMThursday 7:00 AM
• 7-day assignment
• Inpatient and GI lab coverage

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Perform colonoscopies
• Perform ERCP and EUS
• Evaluate inpatient GI consultations
• Perform additional GI procedures as needed
• Manage assigned and unassigned patients

Call:

• Beeper call
• Approximately 46 patients seen
• Call ratio: 4:6

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Required
• Gastroenterology Fellowship Required
• Active Texas license Required
• ERCP and EUS Required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS Required
• Trauma Level I/II
• Epic EMR
