Your Role

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, order diagnostic testing, and create customized care plans.
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or ongoing health conditions in conjunction with physicians or independently (as per your credentialing).
• Inform patients and families about prevention, wellness, and strategies for managing health conditions.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope.
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management.
• Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
• Document accurately and thoroughly using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain them within 90 days)
