Job Opportunity: Associate Direct Support Manager
Our organization is looking for an Associate Direct Support Manager to become a vital part of our Community & Social Services team within our nonprofit and social services initiative. This position involves providing direct assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Direct Support Manager in overseeing daily operations and coordinating staff activities.
- Deliver hands-on support to individuals, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Promote a person-centered approach to care, prioritizing the well-being and preferences of those we serve.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Encourage community integration for individuals, fostering connections and participation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Direct Support Professionals, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
- Experience in social services or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of compliance and safety standards in social services.
This role involves direct interaction with individuals in various settings, requiring a compassionate and adaptable approach. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to making a positive impact.
