HR Generalist IIThis is a year-round position complete with medical, retirement, vacation, sick time. 1+ year experience in human resources preferred. Previous experience with HR systems preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Knowledge of employment laws preferred. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Effective: 7.17.2026 Reports to: Assistant SuperintendentPosition Objective: The HR Generalist provides support for Human Resources functions.Essential Functions:Serves as Evaluwise administrator: enters users, makes system changes as needed, and tracks and prints certified evaluationsServes as Public School Works administrator: Manages employee enrollment, develops and implements employee training assignments and schedules; monitors employee training reports and follows up with employees that have not completed trainingCoordinates district volunteer paperwork and onboarding processAnswers AppliTrack questions, removes job postings, and uploads documentsProcesses annual mailing of reasonable assurance letters and dismissal letters to employeesMonitors teaching/paraprofessional licenses and renewals and communicates with teachers/aides/administrators as necessaryAssist with new hire paperwork processing as requested by HR Generalist IICreates employee badgesEnrolls employees on the physical Time ClockMaintains/updates Administrator contractsManages employee medical and FMLA paperwork and leave; prepares, sends, and maintains paperwork and records, tracks leaves; enters leaves in Aesop/iVisionsEnters purchase order requests and invoices as directed by the Assistant SuperintendentProcesses verification of employment requests and informationProvides clerical support for District Office Staff as neededAdditional Functions:Backup for Accounts PayableAddresses incoming phone calls/walk-insPerforms other such duties as may be assignedQualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation preferred. Knowledge of employment laws. 1+ year experience in human resources. Previous experience with HR systems required.Competencies: Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and the general public. Able to prioritize efforts in order to achieve a student-focused solution. Proficient in standard office software applications. Proficient in HR software systems.
