Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of RN experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Telemetry nursing or acute cardiac experience preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-accountability acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for acute cardiac and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as post-cath lab procedures, ablations, stents, pacers, and stroke-related needs
• Support safe, compliant care with accurate documentation and clinical communication
• Maintain strong attention to central line, Foley, and infection-prevention protocols
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, nursing assistants/techs, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver compassionate communication that reflects strong patient experience standards
• Adapt to floating assignments within like units when needed
• Help promote a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork in this Kansas healthcare setting
