Senior Sourcing Specialist

Position: Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist – Facilities / Global Operations Location: Marlborough, MA Contract: 6 months to perm PayRate: $46-$49/hr Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Hybrid (3 days onsite) Start Date: 7/27/2026 Job Overview As a key member of Boston Scientific's Indirect Sourcing team, this individual will lead sourcing strategies for Global Facilities and Operations categories across the organization. The role is responsible for managing complex procurement initiatives focused on facilities-related services such as managed facility services, security, and construction. The goal is to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and align sourcing strategies with business objectives. This person will independently manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including RFI/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, contract management, spend analysis, supplier performance management, and stakeholder engagement. They will partner with global operations leaders to identify value improvement opportunities and support operational excellence initiatives. Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of sourcing, procurement, or purchasing experience Experience supporting Facilities, Operations, Construction, Security, or Service-related categories Experience running RFPs/RFIs and selecting vendors Ability to analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities Experience partnering with business stakeholders and leading sourcing projects independently Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment SAP, Ariba, Tableau, Excel, or PowerPoint experience Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions Experience managing multiple projects at the same time Experience mentoring or training junior team members #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
