Salary: $275K -$325K

Hybrid Schedule: 2 remote days per week

We are seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Associate to join a highly regarded Real Estate Group in New York. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned real estate attorney with significant experience negotiating complex commercial leases and serving as a trusted advisor to landlords, tenants, developers, and property owners.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of the Real Estate team, you will lead and manage a broad range of commercial leasing matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing complex commercial lease agreements for office, retail, and mixed-use properties.
\n
• Representing both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, balancing business objectives while minimizing legal and financial risk.
\n
• Advising clients on all stages of commercial leasing transactions and occupancy matters.
\n
• Supporting acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions through lease review, due diligence, and tenant-risk analysis.
\n
• Providing strategic counsel to developers, property owners, investors, and corporate occupiers on real estate and leasing issues.
\n
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while serving as a trusted business advisor.
\n
• Collaborating with attorneys across practice groups to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.
\n

What You'll Bring:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
\n
• Admission to practice and good standing in New York.
\n
• 8-12+ years of significant real estate experience with a strong focus on commercial leasing.
\n
• Extensive experience negotiating office, retail, and other commercial property leases.
\n
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Exceptional legal writing and communication abilities.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously while meeting demanding deadlines.
\n
• Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and client-focused judgment.
\n
