• Shift: Day, 3x13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 39
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• Licenses/Certifications: MA license required; Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro experience
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
• Travel: Reimbursements available when applicable
• Pay Rate: $151.32/hr
• Schedule: No nights, no holidays, work with residents for rounding and patient management

What You'll Do:

• Conduct rounds with residents on neuro inpatient units
• Review patient plans and order necessary tests and medications
• Manage patient discharge processes
• Review and work on orders, patient documentation
• Remove drains (hemovac/jp) as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
• Support neuro patient management exclusively in inpatient setting

What You Need:

• Board Certification in Neurosurgery (required)
• Valid MA state license or application in process
• Minimum 1 year neuro-related clinical experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
