Job Description

You'll work alongside Faction's founding team to deploy our AI agents against the hardest problems in industrial commerce - taking customers from signed deal to production, and keeping them there.

The role is intensely commercial and deeply product-centric - some days you're on a sales call walking through a demo you built, other days you're scoping a new feature with engineering. It requires a bias toward action, sharp product intuition, and high EQ.

What you'll do

\n

\n

Deployments

\n

\n
• Own live customers end-to-end. This is the biggest lever in the short term. You run multiple deployments from post-sale design through go-live and stabilization
\n
• Own the relationship with VP-level stakeholders throughout their deployment journey
\n
• Turn messy client reality into clear plans and strategy - coordinate daily with engineering and sales, translating client needs into engineering priorities and deployment context into deal strategy
\n
• Run user onboarding and training sessions; build the materials to support them throughout
\n
• Convert pilots into full deployments. Keep stakeholders engaged - visits, gifts, whatever it takes to stay close
\n
• Track usage across deployments - run reactivation sessions when engagement drops
\n

Product

\n

\n
• The biggest lever long-term. Product revamps are always underway, and customers are pulling for more products than we ship today
\n
• Own the cadence of what we sequence next: build, sell, deploy, keep sticky
\n
• Relentlessly identify what creates the most customer value and translate it into product. Combine exceptional taste with technical fluency, so ideas become specific, buildable features
\n
• Be aggressive about automation (including automating your own work)
\n

Demos

\n

• Own the demo flow with engineering as a shared resource. Excellent demos are a massive unlock. You’d ship prospect-specific and vertical demos (e.g. PVF, HVAC, Electrical, Auto, LBM) - helping to close $XXm in ARR
\n

Hiring

\n

\n
• Document every process and lesson learned from deployments - then prepare to hire and build a team (FDE, SWE) underneath you that executes from these playbooks
\n
• Always be hiring. Engineering capacity is a global constraint on sales
\n

Example projects

\n

\n
• Take a $5bn distributor from signed contract to full go-live in 3 weeks - mapping their ERP data model, configuring our AI agents against their catalog, training their inside sales team, and managing the executive relationship throughout
\n
• Build a demo environment that lets prospects see their own SKU data running through our system during a sales call - then iterate on it weekly based on close rates
\n
• Notice usage dropping at a live customer, diagnose the root cause, and go on-site to fix it
\n
• Write the PRD for a new product surface, ship it with engineering in two weeks, and deploy it to a customer in the third week
\n
• Stand up internal tooling that lets the team delegate repetitive deployment tasks to coding agents

What we're looking for

A sharp, technical operator who wants to be in the room where deals close and systems go live. Specifically:

• Product taste - especially on UI/UX, copy, AI failure modes
\n
• Customer obsession - craves feedback, watches usage data maniacally
\n
• Low ego - will do whatever it takes, no task too small
\n
• Technical - can read a PR, navigate an ERP schema, and debug an integration without flinching. Comfortable using coding agents and picking up whatever new concepts the job demands

• Comfort in chaos - the role evolves as the company grows - this should energize you
