Life Policy Operations Coordinator

Scope and Purpose The Operations Coordinator will work in the Life Acquisitions Policy Holder Services team at the headquarters and operations office. The role involves producing management reports, automating data processes, and serving as a resource for data-related questions and analysis. Duties and Responsibilities Determine appropriate methods to analyze operations and data. Identify operational requirements and develop new processes and procedures to enhance operations. Establish and maintain quality standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and review company policies and business processes. Analyze data to identify business opportunities. Review and test systems for conformance to functional and performance requirements. Review plan codes to ensure they are set up appropriately in LSP per policy form provisions. Complete policy changes/updates (e.g., issue age updates, modal factor overrides, plan code changes). Complete special projects and tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work on your own initiative and within tight deadlines, prioritizing in a demanding environment. Ability to work in an open office environment with senior management from various departments. Travel Requirements This position may require light travel within a ten-mile radius from one office location to another as needed. Physical Demands The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, typing, operating a mouse, reaching with hands and arms, speaking, hearing, sitting for extended periods, and lifting, pulling or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Work Environment The work environment is an office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, WebEx, physical phones, and photocopiers are used.
