Accounts Payable Clerk - 20-22/hr Charlotte,NC
PrideStaff is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a machining manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC. This position maintains accurate financial records, ensures timely vendor payments, and supports the broader accounting operations.
Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm (30 min lunch), hours can be flexible
The Role
Invoice & Payment Processing, Process incoming invoices and verify accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance. Prepare and perform check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Track expenses and process purchasing reports.
Vendor & Account Reconciliation Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Maintain updated vendor files and documentation. Respond to vendor inquiries.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years in accounts payable or general accounting (machining/manufacturing background is a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office applications, and accounting software (ERP experience preferred).
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
