You can learn more about us here: Role Description The Director of Public Relations is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunrise, FL. This role leads the development and execution of strong PR strategies that strengthen NJA’s brand, highlight its expertise in tax and advisory services, and support business growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing media outreach, coordinating interviews and thought leadership opportunities, and serving as a primary contact for journalists and industry publications. The Director will oversee public messaging, maintain consistent communications across channels, manage crisis and reputation communications as needed, and collaborate closely with executive leadership and marketing to align PR initiatives with firm objectives. The role also includes monitoring media coverage, analyzing PR performance, and recommending improvements to enhance visibility and credibility. Qualifications Candidates MUST possess ESTABLISHED TOP TIER NATIONAL MEDIA RELATIONSHIPS and strong Public Relations skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships with press and industry outlets. Candidates should possess expertise in Press Releases and Strategic Communications, including drafting, reviewing, and distributing clear, compelling messages. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial and tax topics in accessible language to diverse audiences. Demonstrated experience in leading PR strategy for professional services, financial, or tax-focused organizations is highly beneficial. Proven ability to develop and execute integrated PR campaigns, manage reputation and crisis communications, and support executive thought leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with PR measurement tools, and the ability to use data to refine messaging and strategy. Leadership experience, including managing projects or teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and operating in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. What We Offer?
