TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Meditech experience - 5+ years experience - At least 1 travel assignment Description: The role requires adherence to a 75-mile radius rule. Driver's license address must be included in submission for consideration. The emergency center sees approximately 180-200 visits per day. The center has a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. A charge nurse is present, along with 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics on each shift. Security and patient sitters are available to assist as needed. Respiratory therapists are available 24/7 to manage respiratory needs. Certified nursing staff will be responsible for lab draws and initiating IVs. Care provided ranges from pediatric to geriatric patients. The center handles trauma cases, retaining some for treatment and transferring others as necessary. Common diagnoses include trauma and neurological conditions. Caribbean blue scrubs are required. Callout processes need to be strictly followed. Completion of orientation requirements is expected within the first week. Charting system utilized is Meditech. This is a trauma care setting in an acute division of nursing. Weekend and holiday work is expected every other occurrence.
