This position allows for a remote work setting, providing you with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a professional appearance during client interactions. Our clinic supports a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while you focus on your clients’ mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at East Side Therapy, Ltd., your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic approaches that are tailored to meet the needs of different client demographics.

• Developing and implementing treatment plans in conjunction with clients, regularly reviewing progress to adapt approaches as necessary.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all records are up to date and securely stored.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support to clients in distress, ensuring safety and immediate care.
\n
• Staying current on emerging trends in therapy and mental health by participating in professional development opportunities such as workshops, conferences, and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include individuals, couples, and families facing a broad spectrum of challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and family conflicts. Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
