Together, we're improving health and improving lives.LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Las Vegas, NV.Work Schedule: M-F 1pm-9:30pmLocation: 731 Pilot Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualification:High School Diploma or GED equivalentPreferred Qualification:Current or prior LabCorp experience6 months of experience in a lab or specimen processing6 months of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience6 months of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital6 months of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job StandardsComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAbility to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
