Job TitleClinical Resource Lead RNJob DescriptionThis is a position for experienced RN's only, preferably experience in Critical Care.Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Clinical Resource Lead RN to join our team to make a difference for our patients and our community.The Clinical Resource Lead will be responsible for monitoring patient care needs for all inpatient settings and provide clinical and administrative leadership on evenings and weekends in the absence of Nurse Managers. This includes assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care needs and nursing care provided, adjustment of staffing and providing direct patient care for inpatients, with a focus on Med/Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care and Critical Care areas. Performs other duties as assigned.We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. All 12 hour shifts and every 3rd weekend rotation.Required QualificationsDegree in NursingLicensed as a registered nurse by the State of MinnesotaCPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers, Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS)Two years (4160 hours) of acute/critical care RN experience. This must include at least six months in a unit leadership or education position (e.g. charge nurse, preceptor or member of a shared governance committee).Preferred QualificationsBSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hireCritical care experience is highly recommended. Attend Fundamental of Critical Care Support (FCCS) within 18-24 months after hire.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.Specialty certification strongly preferred and willing to obtain certification within 18-24 months of hire.BenefitsRegions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
