Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both standard and sophisticated clinical laboratory testsunder protocols in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance as well as calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for subsequent testing when necessary.
• Document all procedures comprehensively, guide and train new staff or students, and help maintain the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, organized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
