Join Our Dynamic Stepdown ICU Team! Job Description:
- Position: Critical Care RN
- Shift & Hours: Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM
- Location: Progressive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital St. Louis
- Contract Duration: 13-26 weeks Qualifications:
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- EKG
- Experience: 1+ years of Critical Care experience Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care in a 24/7 Stepdown ICU environment
- Manage patients requiring Trachs, Vents, and Drips
- Perform ACLS and EKG Interpretation Unit Information:
- Patient Ratios: Typical is 4-6:1
- Equipment: Standard Nursing equipment on Tele unit
- EMR: EPIC Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Team player with a commitment to positive patient outcomes
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable and willing to float as needed Work Expectations:
- Available to work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
- Orientation during the day shift for available travelers Dress Code:
