As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering and exiting the location, following established post orders and reporting unusual activity or concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and visitor processing areas to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly with staff, guests, and management regarding screening expectations, site policies, and security-related concerns within a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
