Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and, when necessary, diagnoses to evaluate patients' mental health statuses, employing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized care plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to anticipate and monitor expected patient outcomes, providing ongoing interventions and tailored strategies to support their mental health journeys.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and relevant clinical information while adhering to all regulatory requirements and departmental standards.

• Collaborate effectively with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment plans that align with the patients' goals and incorporate their cultural contexts and specific needs.

• Facilitate patient safety and symptom reduction by proactively addressing challenges and collaborating with other clinicians to ensure continuity of care.

• Act as a resource by coordinating referrals, establishing productive relationships with treatment providers, and connecting patients with necessary services.

• Share your expertise by providing education and mentoring for students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Support team development through peer reviews, clinical collaboration, and chart auditing as directed by clinical supervisors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
