Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health challenges faced by students, utilizing a range of diagnostic tools and methodologies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client, adjusting interventions as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions either individually or in small groups, implementing therapeutic techniques tailored to children's developmental levels.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and parents to provide an integrated approach to each child’s mental health care, offering guidance and support in navigating educational challenges.

• Stay informed about current research, educational resources, and community services to provide the most effective and relevant interventions.

• Document all client interactions and progress meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically caters to students in a school environment, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in identifying at-risk students and providing early interventions to foster resilience and emotional intelligence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
