Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine students' mental health needs, strengths, and available resources.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, adapting approaches as necessary to suit the student population.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans outlining specific goals, interventions, and expected outcomes for each student.

• Conduct crisis interventions when necessary, performing risk assessments and safety planning to maintain the well-being of students.

• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, educators, and family members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care.

• Facilitate school-based support groups and psychoeducation classes, empowering students and their families to understand mental health issues.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that all records reflect the student’s journey effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves school-aged individuals grappling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. You will work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in your therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health, particularly in outpatient settings or schools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
