Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students through interviews, observations, and the review of relevant records, evaluating their emotional, social, and environmental factors that may affect their schooling and personal recovery.

• Provide compassionate counseling and support to students and their families, addressing issues related to adjustment, emotional wellness, and social skills pertinent to their education.

• Collaborate actively with educators, healthcare professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each student's unique psychosocial needs.

• Facilitate connections for students and families with community resources, including support groups, vocational training programs, and housing assistance, to support their overall development.

• Educate families on available community resources and post-rehabilitation services, ensuring they are well-informed about options to support ongoing growth and reintegration.

• Take part in discharge planning and transition planning to equip students with the necessary tools to succeed academically and socially.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse group of students, including those facing challenges such as behavioral issues, learning disabilities, mental health concerns, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential and be in good standing.
