Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify students' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals and groups, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy tailored to children and adolescents.

• Engage in collaborative case management, working closely with teachers and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address both academic and emotional needs.

• Advocate for clients by connecting them with essential community resources, social services, and support networks.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

• Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing training sessions to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance best practices in delivering care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will work closely with older adolescents, helping them develop coping skills and resilience as they navigate the complexities of their educational journey. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their academic performance and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health services, specifically working with older adults and adolescents.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in school-based mental health settings, possess knowledge of IEP processes, and are familiar with trauma-informed care practices. Compensation and Benefits\n
