Work Environment\n

This is a full-time, remote position enabling flexible work-from-home opportunities while collaborating with school staff and students from a distance. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured environment that promotes work-life balance. You'll have access to robust technology platforms that facilitate communication with students and staff, including telehealth tools and electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs aligned with the unique demographic of the student population.

• Provide evidence-based behavioral health services, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and tailored treatment planning that addresses a range of challenges faced by students.
\n
• Create comprehensive progress notes and electronic documentation of assessments and plan implementations to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Develop and facilitate workshops and group sessions focusing on topics such as emotional regulation, stress management, and resilience building to foster a supportive learning environment.

• Act as a liaison between students, families, and community resources, providing valuable referrals to support services such as medication management and community-based programs.
\n
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement teams to establish and refine processes for effective data collection and performance measurement that ultimately enhances service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be addressing the mental health needs of students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that services are culturally competent and age-appropriate. By working closely with educational staff, you will identify students at risk and provide prompt interventions that can significantly impact their educational experience and overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work and a current and valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a strong foundation in mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professional boundaries, allowing for independent decision-making in clinical situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record in group facilitation and collaborative planning.

Compensation and Benefits\n
