Paralegal

Experienced personal injury paralegal ( 3 years minimum ) for growing practice based out of our Valparaiso location. Prior litigation experience required including drafting pleadings and answering and drafting discovery. This candidate will be primarily responsible for managing cases in active litigation as well as pre-litigation. Strong preference for prior experience in Indiana and Illinois as well as assisting in jury trials in each state. Responsibilities Communication with clients, opposing counsel, doctors, experts etc. Ensure all medical records and bills are obtained, certified etc. Draft pleadings, discovery and motions Respond to discovery requests Legal fact and basic legal research Assist with case management Organize and electronically file pleadings Coordinate and schedule calendars Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
