ESP - Instructional (Behavior Support) / Clerical Starting Date: Sep 8, 2026 Job Description Job summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and confidence to achieve their dreams, contribute to community, and engage in a lifetime of learning by assisting teaching staff and students with instructional support in the classroom. Responsibilities Support the academic and social-emotional needs of students. Assist the Principal, School Counselors, and Instructional Assistants with social-emotional learning and behavior support to individual students. Supervise students in large group situations in classroom and other areas of the building or small groups. Work with students individually or in small groups instructionally. Assist in small group assessments and data management as it relates to student work in the areas of reading and math. Perform functions associated with classroom protocols. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications HighlyQualified – applicants meet the Highly Qualified requirement if they have: Two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits or the amount required to complete two years of full-time enrollment as determined by the institution attended); OR An associate’s degree (or higher); OR Received a passing score on the ParaPro, ParaEducator, or ParaPathways Assessment. Salary Classification 1 (clerical) and Classification 2 (instructional); view salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Employee Contracts page. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. FTE 6 hours/day (4.5 hours instructional; 1.5 hours clerical).
