Receptionist

Immediate need for a talented Receptionist. This is a 24+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Holtwood, PA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $18/hr - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Additional Hours: Weekends and evenings may be required
• The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers at the Visitor Center and may be assigned to work at the Visitors Center as needed.
• This role supports daily operations, assists with public engagement, and contributes to recreational programming and administrative tasks.
• Answer and route telephone calls and emails; maintain a call log using Excel
• Greet and assist visitors with inquiries and directions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, reception, and display areas
• Perform typing and data entry tasks
• Assist with filing and copying of documents (electronic and hardcopy)
• Create promotional materials such as ads, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, yard signs, and logbooks
• Support the Licensing and Recreation Department with contests and public events
• Coordinate with staff on event logistics and visitor services

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in typing and data entry
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, ShareFile)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Any equivalent combination of training, education, and/or experience that meets the minimum qualifications
