Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide support in a dynamic school environment near Tustin, CA. This is a contract assignment covering a leave of absence from September through December, with the potential to make a valuable impact during a period of transition and growth in the district. Both full-time (5 days per week) and part-time availability will be considered to accommodate your schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Active California Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L)
- Strong background in school-based occupational therapy, especially adapting quickly to new settings
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently; must be prepared to hit the ground running
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Commitment to on-site service delivery (no remote options)
- COTAs not accepted for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students at Marblehead Elementary School
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions focused on promoting student success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student outcomes
- Conduct assessments and document findings and progress toward established IEP goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on evolving student needs
