Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Neuro PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and perform clinical procedures in a mixed acuity unit specializing in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring specialized neurological care, including those with strokes, aneurysms, and spinal conditions.
• Utilize Epic for charting and ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
• Float to various units, including the Bellevue campus, as necessary to meet facility needs.
• Administer and manage drips, including cardiac and vasoactive, on all floors as part of patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams and maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and NICOTINE-FREE policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice in Nebraska at submission; pending licenses accepted with conditions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital required, preferably in Level I Trauma Centers.
• Experience with Med Surg/Telemetry ratios and competencies in neurological and surgical patient care.
• Proficient in Epic charting and managing complex IV drips and critical care protocols.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; CPI and other neuro certifications preferred.
• Must comply with facility's nicotine-free and holiday work policies, understanding flexibility in varying patient ratios and demands.
