Accounts Payable Bookkeeper

Job Description Job Description A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support its day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This position will focus primarily on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable while assisting with financial reporting, account reconciliation, and internal accounting processes. The ideal candidate has previous accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately with financial information in a fast-paced environment. This role will also provide general office support, including answering phones and completing clerical tasks as needed. ** Key Responsibilities ** Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and promptly. Review, verify, and enter invoices, payments, and expense documentation. Assist with maintaining and updating Profit and Loss statements and related financial reports. Reconcile accounts and research or resolve discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial information is complete and current. Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately. Provide clerical support, including filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents. Assist with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned. ** Qualifications ** Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is required. Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements and basic financial reporting. Manufacturing industry experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience working with an ERP system is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
