Role Description The Personal Lines Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Fayetteville, AR. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines clients, including home, auto, and other individual coverage needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include quoting and binding coverage, processing policy changes, handling renewals, and responding to client questions and service requests in a timely and professional manner. The role also involves reviewing coverage for adequacy, resolving billing or claim-related issues, maintaining accurate account documentation, and collaborating with carriers to secure competitive and appropriate options. The Personal Lines Account Manager is expected to deliver high-quality customer service, build long-term client relationships, and support agency growth through attentive account management and cross-selling opportunities. Qualifications Strong customer service and relationship management skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, client-focused approach. Experience with personal lines insurance (e.g., home, auto, umbrella), including policy quoting, underwriting basics, and coverage analysis. Proficiency with insurance management systems, carrier rating platforms, and standard office software (e.g., email, document processing, spreadsheets). Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for reviewing policies, resolving billing or coverage issues, and supporting claims processes. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and carrier representatives while also managing responsibilities independently. Previous experience in an insurance agency or similar environment is preferred; a valid Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain) is highly beneficial.
