Cedars‑Sinai’s Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program brings together specialists in all areas of blood cancer care to provide you with personalized, compassionate care every step of the way. The Blood and Marrow Program was established in 1989 and has since performed more than 1,500 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic related and CAR‑T Therapy. The program has been a National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match transplant center since 2001, and is authorized to treat patients with all commercially available CAR‑T cell products. The program is one of only two in the country offering bloodless bone marrow transplant to Jehovah's Witnesses with lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other blood cancers. Cedars‑Sinai Blood and Marrow Transplant program ranks in the Top 10 in the U.S. for patient survival. The program’s one‑year allogeneic transplant survival results are higher than the expected rate, with superior outcomes. Under the leadership of the Director, the Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing clinical and operational leadership for Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants within the Hematology and Cellular Therapy service line. The Lead provides leadership, direction, supervision, and specialty collaborative patient management in partnership with board‑certified/board‑eligible physicians. The Lead APP functions as an expert clinician and operational leader, promoting excellence in patient care, professional practice, staff development, education, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role supports the effective daily operation of the APP team and serves as a catalyst for continuous improvement and positive organizational change. The Lead APP combines advanced clinical expertise with people leadership and operational accountability to strengthen the APP workforce and advance the clinical, quality, educational, and strategic objectives of Cedars‑Sinai’s Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program. Qualifications Education (NP): Master of Nursing Degree. Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered. Education (PA-C): Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Bachelor's degree Experience Requirements: A minimum of five (5) years of inpatient experience as an NP/PA with a focus on malignant hematology, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and CAR T therapy. Experience in critical care inpatient settings is desirable. Licensure/Certifications Requirements: NP CA RN License. Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.
