Life Insurance Sales Specialist ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Life Insurance Sales Specialist with Sunshine Newton State Farm Agency , you will help individuals and families protect the people and financial futures that matter most to them.

We are looking for an experienced life insurance professional with a proven ability to uncover needs, lead meaningful conversations, overcome objections, and close business.

The ideal candidate is confident, motivated, and relationship-focused. You understand that successful life insurance sales are built on trust and know how to guide customers toward the right protection without relying on high-pressure sales tactics.

You will work with existing agency customers and new prospects while managing your pipeline, following up consistently, and taking ownership of your results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct needs-based life insurance conversations with customers and prospects.
• Identify protection gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Confidently guide customers from initial conversation through application.
• Follow up consistently and manage an active sales pipeline.
• Overcome objections and confidently ask for the business.
• Build relationships that generate referrals and additional opportunities.
• Consistently meet or exceed life insurance production goals.
• Collaborate with the agency team to identify opportunities to better protect customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven success selling life insurance strongly preferred.
• Strong consultative sales and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, competitive, and accountable.
• Strong follow-up and pipeline-management skills.
• Ability to achieve sales results while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Appropriate insurance licensing required for licensed activities.
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss previous life insurance sales experience and production results.
