About Our Client
The client is a manufacturing organization supporting both domestic and international operations.
THIS ROLE IS FULLY ON-SITE, 5X PER WEEKJob Description
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, payroll, and month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Own cash flow management through rolling forecasts, working capital monitoring, and proactive oversight of receivables and collections.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to support business decisions and improve financial visibility.
- Establish, monitor, and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and operational KPIs to drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across the finance function.
- Partner with sales, operations, and leadership teams to resolve issues, improve workflows, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen overall financial performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and audit obligations.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Progressive accounting experience, including leadership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, and other transactional accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and credit risk management.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operationally focused environment preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting teams while driving accountability and performance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
