Job Title Customer Service Specialist Work Schedule Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Shifts Schedule Options: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Hours: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Location Horne Heating and Air Conditioning, Belmont, NC About the Role Customer Service Specialists play an important role by assisting customers, scheduling appointments, following up on recommended services, and ensuring every interaction reflects the level of care our company is known for. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and creating outstanding customer experiences. What You'll Do Answer incoming customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy, providing helpful information about our services. Contact homeowners regarding recommended repairs, maintenance, and replacement opportunities to help schedule appointments that fit their needs. Coordinate service, maintenance, and sales appointments while maintaining accurate customer information within company software. Work closely with dispatch, service technicians, installers, and comfort advisors to keep schedules organized and ensure a seamless customer experience. Maintain detailed customer records, complete follow-up activities, and help strengthen long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and outstanding service. What We're Looking For Minimum three years of customer service, client support, call center, appointment scheduling, or administrative experience. Enjoy talking with people, comfortable making outbound calls, and able to build trust with customers over the phone. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Organized, dependable, and comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other office software to manage customer information accurately. A positive attitude, strong follow-through, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ServiceTitan. Appointment setting or customer retention experience. Inside sales or outbound calling experience. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or other home service industry experience.
