About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Global Business Management for its Prime Brokerage division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day business operations, representing the Executive Managing Director in business strategy matters, and ensuring that trading operational risks are effectively managed in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. This role requires a leader who can consolidate desk needs into a strategic view, act as a main point of contact for infrastructure and enterprise stakeholders, and lead the performance planning process. The VP will also be expected to develop and implement proactive strategies to manage regulatory and governance issues, as well as collaborate with various partners to ensure cross-business consistency and efficiency. Candidates for this position should have an undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or economics, and hold Series 7 and 63 certifications. A minimum of 5-7 years' related experience is required, with a preference for those with deep desk- and product-specific knowledge, including prior experience on a trading desk. The role demands a proactive, energetic, and entrepreneurial leadership style, with strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects, have strong analytical thinking abilities, and be experienced in navigating complex projects, including those with a regulatory or technological focus. The VP will be expected to represent the Executive Managing Director in key industry forums and contribute to the company's brand-building and knowledge-sharing activities.
