You identify, analyze, and escalate exposures, validate risk reporting, and act as a subject matter expert on margin methodologies and processes. You partner with Credit Officers, Sales and Trading, Market Risk, and senior management to ensure robust risk governance and timely escalation. You help us strengthen risk controls, challenge assumptions, and drive improvements in exposure metrics and reporting.Job responsibilities:Act as Counterparty Credit Risk coverage lead supporting Prime BrokerageIdentify, analyze, monitor, and escalate counterparty exposures, including concentrations and stress vulnerabilitiesValidate daily risk and exposure reporting, escalating concerns to Credit Officers, senior management, and the front officeServe as subject matter expert on Prime Brokerage margin methodologies, processes, and supporting systemsReview client margin requests, assess adequacy versus stress exposures, and provide recommendations for approvalMaintain strong knowledge of Prime Brokerage clients and business activity, formulating risk appetite views and challenging risk requestsMonitor margin adequacy and risk across top Prime Brokerage counterparties and portfoliosApply Counterparty Stress Analysis framework to analyze and monitor exposuresPartner with business and risk stakeholders on exposure topics, methodology releases, model limitations, and policy enhancementsContribute to firmwide initiatives related to counterparty credit exposure metrics, reporting, and technical enhancementsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:10 years of experience in risk management and/or counterparty credit risk, including exposure monitoring, margining, stress analysis, and risk governance Strong understanding of financial markets and ability to assess the impact of market moves on counterparty exposuresStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to synthesize complex data into clear risk conclusions and recommendationsProven ownership mindset with ability to operate independently in a dynamic environmentStrong judgment and ability to challenge assumptions and escalate issues with clarity and professionalismExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholdersStrong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesProficiency in using large language model (LLM) and AI toolsetsExperience in risk management and/or counterparty credit risk, including exposure monitoring, margining, stress analysis, and risk governance (Prime Brokerage Risk Management preferred)Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Experience in risk management and/or counterparty credit risk, including exposure monitoring, margining, stress analysis, and risk governance (Prime Brokerage Risk Management preferred) JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
