Immigration Attorney

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative attorney with approximately one to three years of business immigration attorney experience to join our Washington, DC office. This hybrid position requires working in the office at least two days per week. Please do not apply if you are unable or unwilling to meet this requirement. About the Role This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career attorney to develop a sophisticated immigration practice while working alongside experienced attorneys committed to mentorship and professional growth. You will gain experience handling a broad range of employment-based immigration matters for organizations ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations, while also assisting with select family-based and humanitarian matters that add depth and variety to your practice. As your experience grows, you will assume increasing responsibility for client counseling, legal strategy, and case management. Your practice may include: Employment-based nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2, and related classifications Employment-based immigrant petitions, including PERM labor certifications, EB-1 petitions, and National Interest Waivers Family-based immigration matters Asylum and other humanitarian cases, as appropriate You will work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals to deliver exceptional client service while developing the knowledge and judgment necessary to become a trusted immigration advisor. Responsibilities Manage an active caseload with increasing independence while collaborating with senior attorneys on more complex matters Prepare, review, and file a broad range of employment-based and individual immigration matters Provide practical, thoughtful legal guidance to clients appropriate to your level of experience, consulting with senior attorneys on complex legal or strategic issues Work collaboratively with legal assistants and paralegals to ensure timely, accurate case preparation and filing Maintain exceptional quality standards while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and excellent client service Contribute ideas to improve firm processes, efficiency, and client experience Participate in internal training initiatives and client education opportunities as they arise Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Approximately one to three years of attorney experience in business immigration Prior experience as an immigration paralegal or law clerk is highly desirable and will be considered in evaluating overall experience Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities Commitment to providing exceptional client service with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgement Collaborative, intellectually curious, and eager to continue developing as an immigration attorney Comfortable learning and utilizing technology, including Microsoft Office, case management software, and project management platforms Why Join Our Firm?
